Hank has autism, sensory processing challenges combined with tactile sensitivities.
What does this mean for brushing his teeth?
It’s something he’s struggled with for…. well, as long as I can remember. If I’m truthful, well still do to some extent.
Hank was referred to a Pediatric Dentist at a young age because of his complex sensory issues. Our dentist is talented and dedicated to his job in helping children with exceptionalities.
During one of our recent visits, I asked if there were any toothbrushes he would recommend for children who experience sensory difficulties.
He had only one he recommended.
I found it on Amazon, and ordered it immediately.
It was an excellent choice.
Less meltdowns and struggles to get the toothbrush in his mouth.
I don’t want to jinx it but…..I think we’re almost to the point where he can do it on his own. 🤞
What an innovative toothbrush. Highly recommend.
Collis Curve Toothbrush.
